Is a small independently owned 46 seater restaurant on the outskirts of Clifton Village in Bristol, serving the best of European food and wine in a relaxed environment. Our tight knit team has worked together for many years both in the kitchen, and front of house in & around Bristol, most notably at our sister restaurant littlefrench, based in Westbury Park, and at our café bakery Littleshop & Pantry, in Henleaze. 

We offer a classic a la carte menu. Made with highest quality produce carefully sourced from the very best suppliers and producers. We also offer an extensive wine list carefully chosen by our chef owner Freddy Bird. 

The dishes are a reflection of Freddy’s many years of cooking in excellent restaurants where he developed his knowledge of food & honed his skills. Starting his career at 2 Michelin star restaurant The Square in Mayfair with chef Phil Howard, serving classic French food, followed by his years at renowned restaurant Moro in Clerkenwell working with husband and wife chefs Sam & Sam Clark cooking Spanish & Moorish food. When moving back home to Bristol, Freddy worked for Barney Houghton & continued to develop his knowledge of running restaurants before going it alone with his wife Ness to open their first restaurant in 2019. Ness’ back ground was PR and events and restaurants were the perfect space for them to bring their love of hosting together.
